Artist Statement

Art has been my shadow since I could walk, but it found its most potent expression through the study of Kinetic Arrest. My work is an orchestration of collisions between molecular chemistry and creative intuition. By manipulating surface tension and fluid dynamics, I capture movement suspended in time, resulting in patterns that mimic the complex vibrations found in nature.

I do not paint static images; I facilitate environments where pigments can interact, compete, and eventually find equilibrium. My deep-rooted mastery of color theory allows me to predict these interactions while leaving enough room for the organic "chaos" that defines my style. Each series represents a rigorous exploration of theme and methodology, bridging the gap between scientific precision and abstract emotion.

At seventeen, Chris Broussard left a quiet Louisiana suburb driven by a singular ambition: to leave an indelible mark on the world. This pursuit ignited a thirty-five-year legacy as a premier hair color specialist and certified instructor in the Law of Color. For decades, Chris operated at the precise intersection of pigment and light, mastering the exacting science of chemistry to manifest the visions of others.

Listening to the Universe
In 2024, at the pinnacle of the salon industry, a profound internal shift occurred. Semi-retirement was not a retreat, but an evolution—a courageous choice to stop dictating color and begin listening to its inherent frequency. By surrendering to the "Macro-Organic Abstraction" of fluid acrylics, Chris traded the highly controlled environment of the salon for a world where chemical reactions are volatile, high-stakes, and breathtakingly unpredictable.

Today, as the founder of Chaotic Color Designs, Chris channels thirty-five years of technical mastery into kinetic, living works of art. Utilizing professional-grade high-flow acrylics, Chris harnesses the raw, unbridled beauty of unpredictable chemistry. Each canvas is a celebration of a life dedicated to color—now liberated to flow, collide, and vibrate in entirely one-of-a-kind formations.

Original works will be secured and sold to collectors upon request. Because of the volatile nature of the fluid process, these specific movements, color bleeds, and textures can never be replicated. 1. Delivery Timeline: Orders typically ship within 3-5 business days. Delivery takes 14-21 business days within the United States via insured shipping.

2. International Shipping: Customers are responsible for all customs duties, import taxes, and local handling fees. We ship internationally with tracking at your request.

3. Packaging and Handling: Original artwork is carefully packaged in museum-quality materials and shipped with full insurance and tracking.

4. Quality Guarantee: Damage during shipment is covered by our shipping insurance. Contact us immediately if your piece arrives damaged.
